Understanding Credits & Usage Limits
How much does a generation cost?
The cost of generating an image varies based on the complexity of the settings you choose.
Text-to-Image: Costs between 1 and 7 credits per image. Simple models cost less; "Advanced" or "Detailed" models cost more.
Image-to-Image: Uploading a reference photo costs 5 credits per upload.
By clicking the 'Fine-tune' button, you can choose the details of the image generation and also have a preview of the cost of generating the image with the chosen settings.

Checking your credit balance
You can see your current balance at the top center of the screen (e.g., "Credits remaining: 345").

Do my credits expire?
Yes, they may expire! It depends on the type of credit:
Membership Credits: Unused credits from your monthly plan roll over for 30 days. If not used by the next month, they expire.
Bonus Credits: These are "use it or lose it." They expire at the end of every billing cycle and do not roll over.
Pack Credits (One-Time): These practically never expire, as long as you are active. They remain valid indefinitely provided you generate at least one image every 90 days.
Order of Credit Consumption
Which credits are used first? When you generate an image, the system automatically uses your credits in this specific order:
Pack Credits (One-time purchases) are used first.
Membership Credits (Monthly plan) are used second.
Bonus Credits are used last.
Failed Generations: What happens if a generation fails?
If the system encounters a technical error and cannot complete your image request, your credits are automatically refunded to your balance instantly. You are not charged for failed generations caused by system errors.
Plan Changes & Upgrades
When do plan changes take effect?
Upgrading/Downgrading: If you switch plans (e.g., Starter to Hobby), the change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
Credits during the switch: You will keep your current credit limit and benefits until that cycle ends. Your new credit allowance (e.g., 500 credits) will be applied only upon renewal.
Commercial Usage (Artist Plan)
Can I sell the images I create?
Starter & Hobby Plans: No. These are for personal and classroom use only.
Artist Membership: Yes. You have a Limited Commercial License to sell physical or digital goods (like print-on-demand or coloring books).
Credit Packs: One-time packs do not have their own license; they inherit the rights of your current active membership. If you are on the Starter plan, pack credits are for personal use. If you are on the Artist plan, pack credits allow commercial use.
